Stillwater Scenic Trail

This is much different from the previous three walks we have taken with you so far. It is a one mile walkway from Farnum Pike to Capron Road in Smithfield, RI. This is part of the Smithfield Conservation Commission. Parking is a gravel lot. The entire walk comprises of firm dirt which I found rather easy to navigate with my rollator walker. This is a mostly forested trail with surprising views of the Stillwater Reservoir. We found this walk to have the feel of a wilderness trail. You will find resting benches with waterside sights. This wilderness walk can be started at either Farnum Pike or Capron Road. Your start and finish can be different each time you visit. Parking at Capron is small, but doable.
