When we speak of South Kingstown, as Rhode Islanders, we immediately think of the oceanfront and beautiful beaches. But, there is so much more to explore in South Kingstown. We bring you to a few places in this blog entry that will fill your days in every season. The first spot is brought to you by the Rhode Island Farm Scavenger Hunt 2024. Since we have participated in this scavenger hunt for the first time this year, we were pleased to experience the farm called, “The Farmer’s Daughter.” It is a year round massive garden with hidden surprises everywhere ! The second destination was a spur of the moment search for the unique nearby. Wait till you see what we found !

Here come the hidden treasures. Throughout this vast garden landscape, there are gift shops each dedicated to a different plant species.

And now, to nearby Main Street, South Kingstown !

This next stop really captured our hearts. Be prepared to spend a fair amount of time wandering through history. The in-house manager is a human encyclopedia of knowledge. He is ready and eager to share his wisdom. Strap up your boots, lads and ladies !

A fantastic day from the spectacular gardens, to Main Street, and the History Museum. You’ll be hungry with all of your activity, so take advantage of the various local faire. There’s something for everyone ! Yet another area we will revisit. Maybe we’ll see you there !
