Spencer’s B’Day in Spencer, MA

The park is open during the winter. The wilderness paths are passable. We were there immediately following a snowfall. We were able to navigate with the rollator walker with no struggle.

Every year for Spencer’s birthday, we plan a day out of the ordinary. We generally wait for when the birthday date is upon us, and we seek the adventure as the day spurs us on. Every year is different. We share this one as we found a nearby town in Massachusetts that shares his name. Hence Spencer’s birthday in Spencer, MA at Spencer State Forest park. You can’t make this up. We just HAD to go !

This walk created an appetite. So now the quest continues. Scouting out for a diner to eat, we stumbled upon a real gem. Highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Spencer, MA.

From start to finish, this adventure was “top shelf.” The unexpected snowfall created a winter wonderland birthday. Anxious to see this park in other seasons. There were so many trails and so much more to explore. This deserves a revisit. Plus the Black & White restaurant is on the top of the list. Spencer’s birthday in Spencer, MA gets a 5 star rating ! A birthday to be remembered.
