Plymouth Thanksgiving 2023
Map via Waze
What better time of year than Thanksgiving week to walk the streets of America’s Hometown ? We are here the day before the Thanksgiving parade celebrations. It is a beautiful and historic three mile walk that takes you past the Mayflower 2, past Plymouth Rock itself and through the streets where the Pilgrims walked. Even though the actual day of the parade would have been most enjoyable, we chose this day without all the crowds of people so we can give you a clear view of this breathtaking town. All of Plymouth’s museums and historic sites are open year round and each season gives you a unique flavor of Plymouth’s treasured past. This is an easy walk to stroll at your own leisure with many different options to stop and visit along your way. So without further ado, let’s visit Plymouth together !
The rock is protected by a monument as it should be. Here it is !
We truly hope this has inspired you to explore Plymouth. There is so much more to see and do. Every time we have visited, we not only go back to the familiar places but we always find new avenues to discover. Plymouth is so full of rich history of this country, every American needs to put their feet on these streets. Happy Thanksgiving !
